A Little List of what I hope to accomplish with my scrapbooking Blog

*a page with my own sketches
*showcasing my layouts - all of them!
*different albums, maybe? At least my wedding album...
*a few of my favorite things page
*design my own resume (new website)
*.....

Guess what little thing I did today!

It wasn't easy, with a 3 year old son, a 5 week old daughter, a 6 month old puppy, and a husband who's asleep, but I got the almost 100 loose scrapbooking pages put away in {some} new albums! I am now caught up! Well, caught up with pages stored, definately not with pictures scrapped.
It was wonderful to go back and look through all the old pictures and pages and layouts and to see my son grow up again, my life change, and some special events, as well as seeing my own progression in scrapbooking! I'd say that verifies my reasoning for starting the blog in the first place -

Why did I do it? {My little virgin Blog post}

Here's the thing ~ I wanted a special place all my own to post all of my scrapbooking layouts - all of them! I love looking through my pages and seeing my own transition; I'll show this and explain how it happened, my influences, and my favorite places to be, virtual or not. I'm still pretty small-town when it comes to scrapbooking, and I'm very comfortable here. I love finding all the little new and small websites - the obscurity and small-family feeling draws me in. As for scrapbooking itself, al I try to do is wow myself while keeping memories for my family.

While we're on that subject, let me introduce you to my family:
My husband, Doug, and I have been married since June, 2000. I started AF/LF scrapbooking because I wanted my wedding planner binder to look prettier than the average wedding planner. When my nephew was born (son of my brother), I started doing pages for he and his older brother, as many pages as I could with every picture I had.

Doug and I welcomed Matthew Daniel in January of 2003 - full of personality and quite photogenic. I was a little too comfortable in the scrapbooking with masculinity when we welcomed McKenna Michelle in March, 2006, forcing me to branch out with feminine influences.

You may see those nephews, and the kids of my husband's brother, but you definately need to know my parents, Michael and Laura, and our dogs, Rocky who we lost in June, 2005, and our newest puppy, Toby.

I hope you enjoy the ride around here...as you'll see, my style is:
I'll try anything once.
