The Dow Wasn't The Only Thing that Took A Hit
Yesterday, the Dow Jones took a major hit, stalling the momentum it has enjoyed for so many months. In some ways, we feel their pain. We have worked through most of the unforeseen circumstances that have led to this extensive delay. We know how much work so many of you have poured into your projects and we are doing all we can to remedy the situation.

Please know we take these glitches very, very seriously and we desperately want to get these incredible designs in the public eye so they can be reviewed and rated by you, the voting audience. In the interest of making the competition as fair as possible, we have pulled the submissions from the site and are going to do everything in our power to get it live again.

Though you have taken your time to review and vote, we hope you'll be willing to come back again when we relaunch the contest, as we will be "starting from scratch" on the voting for this round. In order to keep on schedule, we are going to open this for voting again on Monday, March 5th at 9 AM, Mountain Standard Time.

We will send out another newsletter when we can open the voting once again and we'll make sure to leave it live for 48 hours to give everyone fair access. In the meantime, we thank you for the emails, blog postings, and chat room messages showing support (SelenaKimsey on TwoPeas ...Your Submission Reviews Rock!). This is a whole new process for us, created to manage traffic that was born from the first MM Idol. Like you, we truly want to make this right.

American Idol, Scrap-Tastic style!

So I just have to turn your head over to a small site with tons of fun! I'm in a contest called American Idol over at Scrap-Tastic.com which started a week ago (thrilled to have made the first step, top 48!).
But there is fun to be had by everyone... because there is also a week-long American Idol crop going on! See details here. You know I just like the small places that make scrapbooking fun, and this is one of them! There are lots of challenges up already, and if you go, pay close attention to the funny details - it's a hoot!

That FOR SALE sign. Yup, it's up. Found the property, found the builder, now just gotta find the money! Hoping this goes quickly and quietly. Sad to leave the neighborhood where we'd thought we'd stay forever, but for our kids' sake, this will be a great move.

I am just thrilled to be chosen for the monthly guest designer at one of my favorite sites (with some of the best unique products!), TTT, or Transparent Touches and Tags! I think I became hooked the day I asked the owner, Monica, if she could come up with something like her transparency coasters with You Are My Sunshine on it - literally minutes later she had one for me! I used it on the layout that's with my CP kit reveal layouts.

He's a big ol' 4 today and I just can't get over it!! I cried quite a few times yesterday - wish I could keep him a baby and young and innocent forever!! Since that's not going to happen, we're celebrating with a few new pics, some fav layouts, cupcakes, family, and a trip to ToysRUs later.

LOVER!! {I know, nothing new...} I love them! Any and almost all - I hoard sketches. They just make great in-between pages when I'm not feeling "createful". So my mission is to add to my sidebar my fav sketches sites.

By the end of January, I want this wall filled with Christmas pages! I have so many pics to scrap, and the transition from my favorite autumn scrapping colors into January and the rest of the year is the most difficult for me. I'm keeping one from 2006, and the rest I must create this month!
Of course, it'd help if we would get some snow!!!

Mine sure is!

I spent the night last night working, causing trouble and chatting on the Streets! It was certainly a blast! I tried to get one more in for 2006, but I only finished one digital. So my 2006 stats are:

Pages completed: 290

Digital pages: 33

Paper pages: 257

My goal was 312, but I didn't hit it for the 2nd year in a row. :(



2007 page goals are:
300 paper pages &
100 digital pages

Some other scrappin goals for me:
*make my own digi kit
*blog at least once a week.
*submit at least once a week.
*clean the scraproom - I mean really make it usable!!
*get my (hundreds?) of layouts IN books!

Add lost 30 pounds to that list, and I'm ready to ring in 2007!
