Life on the move...Blogging on hold.

So I just happened upon my own blog and saw my last post is from October! All is well, all is very good, actually. Turns out I'm learning as I live, and ministry=life is one lesson learned. Wonderfully encompassed by all things kids ministryg - GraceKids at an amazing Hudson Valley church that is growing beyond our imaginations and is fully devoted to the Holy Spirit as it is reaching our county and beyond. I'm ever so thankful that I get to be a part of this.

I do get to check out and unplug on Mondays, but it's usually spent on family, the house, and occasionally a walk with the dogs (when it's not snowing in NY, which is never...)

Perhaps I'll be able to pick up a page someday again, but I'm now at occasionally thinking about scrapbooking rather than always thinking in page titles. :) My camera is still pretty attached to me, but the pictures don't make it to pages these days. Maybe one day again - I do miss it, but am super happy where life is outside of the scraproom.

To end today, sharing my current favorite worship song. I used to say when God is done with me, He'll open up doors to let me sing again (just as He closed the doors leading me off worship team and into kidsmin years ago). Perhaps I'll see that reward in heaven, but I will continue to use car time as worship time in the meantime. :) Enjoy. And peace out, at least for a while.

Speaking of being called...

Matthew 14:
22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
